For the past seventeen years, I've been in charge of a Holiday Inn located in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, the Midwest's most popular tourist area. Three million guests visit the Dells every year. In fact, our 230 rooms are filled to capacity all summer long. We also have a water park located in our facility, which generates the towel laundry of about sixty rooms. We had to find a way for our laundry room to keep up with the 300 dozen towels, in addition to everything else it processes.

We relied on our UniMac distributor to provide us with suggestions and advice. UniMac came through with the best solution - the UW60 washer extractor. Before we added the UW60, our laundry ran from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. The UniMac processes more laundry in less time than the other washers in our laundry. Because it extracts more water, the loads dry faster. We now get all the laundry processed by 11 p.m. - and using fewer people. We saw a return on our investment in one year. We put that savings into a flatwork finisher for pillowcases and table linens, which has pleased our customers immeasurably.

Reduced labor and utility costs, and greater customer satisfaction. That's a solution I can live with.
